Nancy Pelosi can think on her feet and when Luke Russert asks her at a press conference, where she is announcing that she is staying on as Minority Leader, if she should be thinking about clearing the way for younger leadership, this is what happened.

Colleagues privately say that your decision to stay on prohibits the party from having a younger leadership and hurts the party in the long term.

On the night itself a lot of news outlets seemed confused as to how to describe Sandy. Was it a hurricane? An extratropical cyclone? A Nor’easter? Hopefully lucid articles like this one by Bob Henson will go some way towards setting the record straight.

That stupid bank of cloud stopped the colours from being too impressive. Still, enjoying the new camera and the gorgeous scenery!
