Stray cats. On walls, under tables, flitting from alley to alley in an endless search for food and sanctuary. Africa’s Northern cities are plagued by them, their human neighbours at times both kind and cruel but predominantly indifferent.
Moonrise in the Sahara. Midday in the Sahara. That life survives in such baking impermanence is a wonder.
Dream big. Stay calm. Squeeze life out of life. Act impulsively. Be generous. Be selfish. Have no expectations and make no assumptions. Grasp opportunities with both hands. Live for yourself. Love everything. Stay curious.
